Re: Android on WebDT366?

Its been a while since I picked up my dt, saw this post and I'm glad to see someone doodling with android. you are spot on, Windows and pup lino are the best direction for these. I use mine in the garage and car for datalogging on OBD (I&II). These things can run legacy apps for another decade, ...

Re: can you install microxp on the build in 512mb drive?

nLite and a valid install cd of xp is by far the best route. the kit even allows for redirected programs, profiles, temp, and overide of 1GB install limit. keep the system on the flash ide and eveything else on a usb2 or cf card (lx is best).

it recreates a new install cd for installation.

Re: Hardware specs

This is awesome, I simply ran the reg hacks, replaced my drivers as described, then copied the new system32 files over mine, rebooted, and wham, my buttons are now programmed for screen rotation, power save, and a great new utility for managing wireless, brightness, bluetoothe, etc. One thing I don'...

Re: What I brought mine for and how I am using it

I have zipped up the INI files, but it seems that in order to get the net results, all of them need to be applied, as they seem to be exclusive of each other. I never really did fully understand how the nLite ini files worked, especially the drivers, as each time I built another based on the previou...

Re: What I brought mine for and how I am using it

xp pro butchered down to 150MB installer with nLite. I tried the embedded route, but just could not get a reliable install from it with everything that i wanted. it took me a few days and many CD's to get it just right, but finally figured out how to use a USB stick to install from, saving CD's and ...

Re: Can I use WebDT 366 for...

These units charge on 12V DC external power (+ tip polarity). The voltmeter shows a precise 12 volts from my AC adapter when plugged in, but a car alternator typically provides 13-14V to the battery when the engine is running. That being said, you might get by with a direct "Pass-through" ...

Re: DT WEB 360s for sale - Band new still in the box - $ 75.00

The internal battery is a small coin-shaped non-rechargeable CR-xxx lithium battery that is installed on the motherboard to preserve the BIOS settings, even if the internal or external rechargeable batteries are drained completely. they are readily available for about $2-3. They are the same battery...

Re: DT WEB 360s for sale - Band new still in the box - $ 75.00

Feel I should endorse these DT-366 units. I bought 2 recently, both still in original OEM box and have plastic protectors taped to the screen, pristine condition. These units are LX-800 processors, 512/512, mini-PCI ethernet, USB 2.0. These also have the dock, rubber grips, stylus, charger. The inte...

Re: WebDT internal batteries surplus?

Batteries arrived in a week and worked great, I estimate that mine are about 80% efficient compared to new. I get about 2 hours with screen dimmed to lowest +1 Unfortunately, they sold out, hopefully many of us got some... Kudos to tbowland for the excellent 366LX for $75. does anyone have an intern...

WebDT internal batteries surplus?

I found this surplus site selling batteries (ACC-006-12 BATTERY "WORKING PULLS") http://www.centurian-surplus.com/servlet/the-71/ACC-dsh-006-dsh-12-BATTERY--%22/Detail The pics show what appears to be new in plastic pouches, and the measurements match my DT366 internal's measurements, only...
