Re: DT360 better than DT366??

The 360 is newer, been around for at least 2 years. It's a lot easier to get parts for as well (such as the cradles). Most of the ones for sale on eBay are CE, but a lot were sold with XP and XPe. I'm guessing that the companies kept those. You can upgrade it to XPe, and the  flash chip can be purch...

Thanks! So no real issues with XP then. Not even the button manager? i made a xpe to my 366. I even added the .net  2 component to the package,  but i had serious problems with my cisco 350 wifi.  So i couldn test the applicaqtion wich reqired .net 2 to the fully. Another problem is the evaluation ...

Re: DT366 vs DT368 comparisons

Talked to someone today and found up the 369 is actually the 368 with the highbright display. It drains the battery quicker as it has an extra inverter in there for a bright backlight.

Re: DT368 Bios

I'd try googling and seeing who all sells them, they try contacting a few different people.

Re: hard drive speed - bios trick?

Since starting this project I have gone through a few DT's. Gave a couple away and have gone through two 1gb chips. The first 1gig chip looked much different than the one tkmedia helped me with. Sadly I did not performance test the first one. http://picasaweb.google.com/dkuchay/WebDT#53410399460325...

Re: DT366 vs DT368 comparisons

Does the 369 run usb2.0? Boy I would like to get my hands on one of these!!! 500mb is not as much of a limitation depending on your application. All in all I spent 20 percent more on my 1gb chip than I did on my cf card. Considering the functionality and how many more applications one realizes I th...

Re: DT366 - auto car charger

I bought my flash chip from this company and found their online store. Looks like they sell the actual auto chargers, and from what I believe, they work for the older models too. I believe all of them have the same power supply:

Re: DT368 Bios

DT won't help people that bought a product off eBay, they only support their clients. Even then, they usually don't support the older models either for clients from what I was hearing.

Have you tried a reseller?

Re: Windows Mobile on WebDT366 ?

I dont like putting ebay links here because they need maintenance. But to show that this product exists and to show people that google still works here is a dt running an x-scale cpu. Possibly the author of this ad could better answer exactly what operating system is on this. They may also be able ...

Re: Windows Mobile on WebDT366 ?

DT made one device that I am aware of with an ARM/xscale cpu. It also ran windows mobile. It came with limited storage. Somewhere around 64mb. I can not for the life of me remember the model. There was one on ebay for less than 75 bucks up to recently. Windows mobile is a product designed to run on...

You could get an XPe license, but I'm not even sure if they sell them online. I bought mine from a DT reseller with a flash chip (already installed with XPe). I think the license is around $100 or so itself..

Re: Windows Mobile on WebDT366 ?

If you can get all the drivers, it may be plausible. The unit was never built to run Windows Mobile though. DT has never done anything with WM, probably due to Microsoft's ridiculous requirements for a WM license (buying a large quantity).

Re: hard drive speed - bios trick?

I got my 1GB from some reseller, but I did buy a license with it. You could try getting it without a license. The chips are expensive though ($40 for 1GB, even higher for other sizes).. sucks, but I guess thats what you get for something customly done for the product. If you want that contact info, ...
