Re: NimbleX 2009 on WebDT ...soon
Trying to fix the google thing. The site is like seven or eight days old. I just went through google verification saturday and submitted the site for indexing. We should be getting some page rank soon. Have you tried the other method mentioned on the NimbleX site? The uselivemod command? http://www....

Re: What pcmcia wifi card is compatible with the DT366?
It is a driver issue. The os being booted needs to have the support for the Air One 350 pcmcia by Cisco. The current driver for this card is known not to work with WEP. Unconfirmed but that cisco card may not play well with some linux kernels. I started to google an error I was seeing in init dealin...

Re: Can I boot from the CF card slot?
In ext3 there are partition options (depending on partition util) that allow you to prevent write backs. Although that was my aim it never happened. Good to know about xp! I read a few forums of guys running fanless itx based servers running off flash cards and ide adapters. A few of them reported 6...

Re: How do I back up Windows CE?
Couple times that I booted to nimblex my resolution was off. If you go "fishing" below view its next to the menu button. If you right click on the desktop you can "run a command". Try typing "konsole" there. I think thats the bundled terminal with KDE3

Re: Can I boot from the CF card slot?
Good questions, I tried five different ways of doing something similar. Each failed. Each time I tried a /boot partition as the first partition on the internal flash. Then swap and the rest on the flash card. Each time the graphical partitioner saw all the targets and indicated it had it finished. H...

Awesome! Thank you!
WebDT.org is starting to pick up some speed. Think we had nearly ten people register yesterday. If we keep hitting google with fresh content that is cross linked here all our videos should gain rank. Hopefully you started a trend.

Hey Tim,
Great to have another DT user here, Welcome! If I am not mistaken I have read many of your posts in the MCE forums. Thank you for all of your contributions! The MCE team has inspired a great deal of what you see here. Pleasure to see you posting.

Thats pretty cool ivanp,
Thanks for your post. I was installing these around the year 2001 with the name Crestron on them as home automation controllers. I admire the MCE project more than I can say however in my studio apartment its hard to justify.

If anyone is running nimblex right now with the touchscreen drivers loaded can I please ask a favor of you? I promised Bogdan that we would see if we could help him out with something. If you google nimblex then click on the video tab just take a look at what the number one video is. Enough said. Ca...

Can I boot from the CF card slot?
No one has successfully accomplished this as of yet. Boot from a USB drive (cd-rom, thumb drive, usb hard drive) or the internal flash memory aka "hard drive 1" in the bios.
