Re: Debian5-WebDT366-LXDE-1.1
Quota, I have tried for a couple of days now to get your image onto my memory stick with no luck. I have used "dd for Windows" with no luck. I have tried several commands 1) dd if=E:\DT366\LXDE.img of=F:\ bs=1M **File is on my USB HDD. Stick is F:** 2) dd if=E:\DT366\LXDE.img of=\\.\F: b...

Question about ghosting my CE before I install Linux
Used Angrymeat's excellent tutorial and "gifts" to image my flash drive. It is creating the image now. In ghost I went to the options and chose "Image All". Was that correct? Should I have chosen to image the boot sector as well with "Image Boot" or is that captured wit...

Re: Apacer DOM - 90 degree
Did anyone notice at the bottom of the page that the 3.3v units were sold as "OEM only". Also check out the specs on these. The ADMII is quite a bit faster and cheaper than the ADMIII if one were able to buy one. Would this work in our units? Can anyone answer the question of "is ther...

Apacer DOM - 90 degree
I found these:
http://www.e-itx.com/apacer-adm-2-44p-90d.html
Does anyone know if there is a size limitation as to what will be recognized by the BIOS? IOW can I use the 8GB unit in the DT366? These prices don't look too bad (do they?).

Re: DT360 better than DT366??
Also:
If the wireless card is internal does the unit still have a PCMCIA slot? I ask because I have a PCMCIA card at home that provides 2 USB ports.

Re: DT360 better than DT366??
Thanks for the reply darkcirca. Any response to the other questions? 1) Is the ~150.00 increase in price worth it? 2) Is the increase in processor speed significant? 3) USB 1.0 to 2.0 ?? 4) Is it possible to boot from a USB HDD? You say the flash is easily accessable, is it also easily changed and d...

I just want it to play with (try to install Linux etc) while at the same time getting my daily dose of internet. Maybe SunnyVoip could give us...
