Sorry - no action in the terminal.
I went so far as to download 'xev' from this link:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?p=244431
But xev reports no action from the front buttons (or joypad) either.

Re: WORKING Penmount touchscreen on Puppy Linux 4.3
1. What type of drive did you choose to install Puppy Linux to? 2. Did you format the drive as fat32 or ext2? 3. Are you using grub on the MBR? Thanks! 1. I installed Puppy from a Puppy USB stick to the internal IDE module inside the WebDT. 2. I formatted it as ext3 3. I think I'm using grub on th...

WORKING Penmount touchscreen on Puppy Linux 4.3.1
I've edited this message to provide a Step-by-Step install procedure for Puppy Linux 4.3.1. This is a DESTRUCTIVE install that will wipe all existing files on your WebDT. 1 ) Download the ISO for Puppy Linux 4.3.1 from puppylinux.org. I actually chose to install the "small" version from h...

Re: Puppy Linux
Sorry - I should have said that I am using Puppy 4.3 - apparently the latest.
I also tried installing the "Xorg-full" puppy package, but that didn't change anything.

Re: Puppy Linux
@david_halliday Did you have any luck with the touchscreen in puppy linux? I'm running puppy 4.3 and it runs great except, of course, for the touchscreen. I'm using those same open-source drivers ('evdev' & 'penmount') after following the HOWTO on the puppy forums. Not only is the calibration aw...

Re: MicroXP / XP drivers
yes the error code goes something like STOP 0x0000000...7b (three sets of nos here) The other three sets are important too. Perhaps not relevant to your problem, but I have had glitches with windows installs before regarding the master/slave settings of the hard drive and the CD Rom drive. If you c...

Re: [Photo] How to add 8G flash on WEBDT Tablet
Strong words. Does it make a difference to your argument that SunnyVOIP specifically say that the photo is of a DT360 and not a DT366?

Re: wireless network issues
If you are using the original Cisco wireless card, then it might only be able to recognise 802.11b networks.
Your network router might be set to 802.11g - a newer standard. Try going into the settings for your network router and enabling 802.11b legacy support.

Remote Desktop (thin client) using xrdp
Hi there, If you're looking for a much simpler way to make use of the WebDT out-of-the-box then consider just connecting to an existing computer running a terminal server. I can confirm that the xrdp package , running on a linux (ubuntu) host computer, works just great with the WebDT. I've placed a ...

Android on Geode GX
Whew - there are quite a few distros to chose from! Most of you will have heard the buzz about Google Android being a lightweight performer on cellphones and PDAs. Turns out that it *might* run on the WebDT too. If anyone is game to try it, there are some leads here - http://www.androidx86.org/ The ...

Re: WebDT 366 GX Internal Documentation
If you have the extended battery panel, you have lots of room to add in mods. I dont have one. Hell, I was even thinking about mounting an old $10 external aluminum drive enclosure to the back, just to hold a 2.5" HDD, but to be honest I think I would rather try to get a 4 or 8GB Compact Flash...

Re: WebDT 366 GX Internal Documentation
You rule! Also, I can add one more thing to your documention. The soundcard chipset is in the top-left corner of your photo, immediately to the left of the 'Y' on your compact flash sticker. I'm pretty keen to get a pinout of the dock connections... there's 2 extra USB and 1 ethernet available there...
