I have used my 350 in dsl linux  nimblex  ce5.0 and xpe all with wep haven't had a problem yet.

I have had  lexar Kingston and seagate cf cards all work in  my unit  the highest size I have tried so far is 4 gb .
On the thumb drive I have has the cruzer and pny 2 gb and 4g units both work with no real problem.

I posted over at the linuxmce forums to try and get some  of the dt people over here as well . The big thing is this site doesn't show up in google. I only found this site at all because of the nimblex vid on youtube.

thats the trick preventing the writebacks if you run it all full on they die pretty quick.

how do you get a terminal on that nimblex desktop I couldn't find one. also you can do the same thing booting form the knopix cd  feel free to add a nice DD tutorial  to my ghost method post I haven't used dd enough to write a guide for it .

I imagine swap would eat a cf card alive . I know installing xp on a cf without ewf enabled will kill a flash in about a week.

I would assume the compatibility comes down to drivers more than hardware. as far as i have seen its a standard pcmcia port.

i think everyone has a different  needs on this  I want a mini carputer/ portable tablet others just want a cheap laptop web tablet so on . Yeah being able to put vnc on  them would be great.
