Nothing is ever easy, but if it is difficult you must be doing it wrong.

Re: How do I get into the BIOS?
With a USB keyboard attached power up your WebDT. As the screen becomes active hold down the F1 key. Hold it until the "splash" screen disappears. In a fraction of a second the bios should appear.
I made requests of those selling these on ebay. Asking them to have their techs post here on any relevant bios information or tips. Up until these popped up on ebay they were a 1500 dollar item. The people who are buying them are looking for information and the only people that have that information are within DT research's reseller network. Without the sale they may be difficult to coax in to helping, but I am trying.
As for partitioning I think it largely depends on which linux distribution you want to try.
I am still curious to know if anyone can boot from the second hard drive, which is the CF slot. That would make things interesting while opening up a world of possibility for partitioning schemes.

Re: How do I get into the BIOS?
Just a tip for those who go into the BIOS. If you plan on using your WebDT366 as a portable movie player (like me), then up the shared video memory to 16MB to get smoother playback.
Re: How do I get into the BIOS?
where do you set the video memory
Re: How do I get into the BIOS?
You need a USB Keyboard to do this.
1. Power off your WebDT
2. Plug in USB Keyboard
3. Power on WebDT
4. Keep tapping F1
5. Goto the following locations:
- C. Motherboard Device Configuration
- F. Video and Flat Panel Configuration
- Video Memory
6. Keep pressing Enter on 'Video Memory' until it changes to 16MB
7. Keep pressing ESC until you get back to main menu
8. Select Save Values and Exit
