Hi all:
I'm new in here and I own a WebDT366 whick had WinCE, have you people tried Slitaz?

It's very small, less than 30MB and I was able to boot it from a flash drive and runs great. Tried to locate the penmount driver and I think did it, but since I'm a windows guy don't know how to install it...Anyway, a link to the driver:

Thanks

Welcome to webdt.org!

As with any live linux distribution, such as Slitaz, persistent changes are the challenge. It may be possible to decompress the os and insert the pemnount driver and calibration utility and then recompress it back up but that is beyond my skills. Unless Slitaz offers a build service and module creation service.

If you have Slitaz running issue a "uname -r" in a terminal and let us know what kernel version you are running. Penmount only works with certain distributions and certain kernels within those certain distributions. I love ram based os's but we have yet to get a working touchscreen within one.

Hi and thank you for your replay. As I said before dont know anything about Linux, to the point that Im unable to follow the instructions included with the driver, which I think it is: xf86PenMount.so Answering your question: Kernel 2.6.25.5.

I am also looking at Slitaz. Very well thought out, good tools and active development community.

The current version responds to "uname -r" with "2.6.30.6-slitaz"
