XP Pro format

Post by ionbladez »

I just bought a USB hub today (finally);

And I modded an old external HD board for a DVD-Rom drive.
Long story short - I got XP Pro CD to boot and run the installer.

but now I'm at the PARTITIONING screen.

What exactly do I need to wipe?
Should I get rid of BOTH partitions, or one.
After I install this (don't care if it lags), I already paid for a pro version of XPLite. (www.litepc.com)

So I can strip A LOT out of it.

But in any case I don't wanna screw it up.
What do I do here? I'm going to leave this screen on until a reply is given.

Thanks in advance.

OH.
My partition table also reads:

C:  -  32MB (14MB Free)
D:  -  466MB (296 Free)
[ Unpartitioned  space ] 1MB

The D I'm guessing is my FLASH STORAGE 2- Which I just put some music on.
but since I can't even connect my new bluetooth headphones to the damn thing, I want to get rid of CE as quickly as possible.

;)

Well nevermind, I had a burned Damn Small Linux CD from a couple weeks ago.
the audio works (yet to be tested), and I just want the drivers for the bluetooth and the penmount.

I've checked other threads but not sure exactly what I'm dealing with

Both C and D are on the internal Flash drive, they are just separate partitions. If you do not case about CE just blow them both away and install any OS of your choice on the empty space.

Yes I've figured that out a little late, lol of course for not reading that is.
But what drivers would I need for Damn small linux?

Does anyone have this distro running on theirs?
