Post by quotaholic »

A WebDT is an industrial web tablet manufactured by DT Research.

These are among some of the first "tablets" manufactured. They are industrial rated and boast a 4 foot drop rating as long as the rubber "bumpers" are attached.

We have seen applications in the marketplace from Target stores as a front end to a mobile inventory scanning system, Similarly in Armed forces depots, as well as home automation controllers used by Crestron, Request, Ambia Home and others.

The WebDT 366 (most common and economical) is offered in two versions, based on Geode GX533 and LX800 processors, respectively. The WebDT 366 is available through the company's network of resellers.

Xrivertechnologies is one of many such authorized resellers.

When DTRI introduced the Atom based line up the AMD geode based units became obsolete and many of them (thousands) were sent to surplus status. Ebay is a good resource for finding a DT used as well as periodic sellers on this forum. If you want a new DT please check with Xrivertechnologies.
