Just bought a DT366 to use for home automation. 2 days later the XP installed on the system died. (evaluation version of XPe). Now the DT366 is a brick unless I can get copy of XPe with 366 drivers. If anyone has an image please PM me.
thanks in advance
Mike

Sorry I can't help with the XPe image.
What are you using for home automation software?

Nothing is ever easy, but if it is difficult you must be doing it wrong.

Hi Volkswagner
The software is custom built using VB. It is set up as a client server system with an old P4 acting as the server. The server holds all the movies / music /RSS feeds / Internet / lighting control / IR control etc. The DT366 will act as an intelligent controller (smart remote with feedback). I plan to have several mounted on the wall, and one or 2 as portable remotes.
That is why I require XPe. Windows CE may do the job, but I would have a lot of rewriting to do, and I would lose functionality. Ive been working on the system for 3 years now and it is finally coming together. The controller is the last piece for the system .
cheers
